At Urtekram Int. A/S, quality is about the long haul. We start as far back in the processing chain as possible - preferably at the primary producer. For example, we visit the plantations where our

apricots grow. Here, we see the trees and meet the farmers and the agronomists who advise the farmers with regard to organic farming. We also inspect the factory that cleans, washes, sorts and packages the apricots as well as the warehouse that stores the apricots for Urtekram. We talk to production employees, the employees responsible for quality, the export manager and the managing director. This way, we ensure that the quality is in order and check organic production and traceability first-hand. Quality and the long haul also include goal-oriented work on making continuous improvements, such as increasing the factual information on our products and making it available to as many as possible, including colleauges, customers, consumers, the press and the authorities.
